I've been playing this game since July, and I love it. I know it's been buggy but it's still obviously in beta mode. If that's a gamebreaker for you, come back in a few months; you may change your tune. To me, it's not a problem to restart the game or change servers. What I love about this game is that it's about community. They used to have updates every other week, but since the Switch launch they've lowered it to once a month. Also you can play with people no matter if they're on Switch, PC, or Steam. S6 encourages constructive criticism and feedback; it's the reason why this game gets better. I encourage anyone who plays to join their discord, the community there is quite helpful. The game is free; it literally doesn't cost money to play. The only monetization in this game is cosmetic, which I like despite the fact some of the outfits are pricey. If you're living on a budget, upload a little money at a time. Honestly, I'm waiting for Palia merch to be a thing. I would love a plushie, a mug... anything.
