Early Access Review
This game still has the best sense of adventure. I recommend co-op. You'll have fun discovering your uniquely generated world and solving problems together.

The progression is based around large and small challenges and a really rewarding crafting/material system.

I'd recommend going in cold and just enjoying the game without knowing anything else.

If you enjoyed Valheim, I'd recommend trying some other games like Outward, Grounded, and Dragon's Dogma (I played 2). None of them are quite the same, but there are crossover elements that I really enjoyed.

Very glad I finally played this. The humour is a bit... American but it's not too affected. The characters are wholesome and interesting while the narrative teases and manipulates you.

The game is full of clever, neat things which will make you smile. I played it in a single session as if it was a long film. Seems like the way to go. Enjoy.

This review doesn't contain spoilers but if you're reading this to get my recommendation, I'd instead recommend you just play the game, because I talk about things that it's better you discover for yourself.

Lovely game, that's clearly very personal to the developer. Touches on deep issues but avoids lecturing or asserting its own point of view. Comments on society but avoids criticising any particular group or idea.

I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys unique game experiences (like myself) and can appreciate a game that respects you as a player. The three hours it takes to complete the single player (haven't touched the co-op yet) float by, without a dull moment. Gentle survival mechanics encourage narrative, rather than suppress gameplay and the navigation helps the confined, rich story feel like a real journey.

Disclosure: I have a vague twitter acquaintance with the developer, Talha Kaya, who sings you a song at the end and uses the word "art" a lot.

Good length for a platformy game of this kind. Puzzles are easy enough that they don't kill the pace of the game; challenging enough that they don't feel like a slog.

Game tends to reward risk taking play, with its puzzle solutions, which suits me well.

Artwork is obviously just eye-wateringly lovely from start to finish. The story is charming, if you're willing to let it charm you.

Only doing this review for the Autumn Sale badge but I recommend this game to anyone who likes good games.

Totally lives up to expectations for the sequel. Beautiful visuals, beautiful representation of nature and (just like the first game) emotionally unforgiving.
