What an awesome little game! I'm only an hour in but I'm thoroughly enjoying this. Easy controls, quick levels, vibrant art style, lots of secrets to find. I'd say this is a good game for short breaks, if it wasn't so addictive :D

And the "kid mode" is a great idea. I wish more games did this. This will probably be my kid's first videogame. Trucks, firefighters, cats, little bit of hand holding so the little ones don't get frustrated.

I would absolutely recommend this game to players who enjoy adventure and exploration games, puzzles, and/or electronic music. As you walk through beautiful environments of this game, you will receive little direct guidance. There are no glowing arrows or pop-ups with instructions. You really have to pay attention and experiment to figure out how things work: the colors, the symbols, the audio cues. The process of exploration and discovery feels very rewarding.

The main adventure is not particularly long (I've beaten a third of the game in about 2.5 hours), but I've enjoyed every second of it. My advice to anyone who gets stuck: do try to experiment and look around before looking up FAQs and walkthroughs. A little temporary frustration is worth it for the great satisfaction when you figure it out. For a gentler learning curve, I recommend starting with the cyan section of the main world.

I started playing this game just for the KillingFloor achievement-unlocked weapon (which took all of ~15 minutes), but ended up playing for 10 hours. Very simple but addicting game, especially if you get excited about leaderboards and high-scores. I only played the free version (which only has easy/normal modes), but even this is tons of fun.

The gameplay is not really much to do with Dwarf Fortress, as one might think -- there is no base-building involved aside from planting outposts. This is more about micromanaging dwarfs to maximize mining efficiency (exploring caves, making outposts, getting away from danger) and guard against various hazards (floods, lava caves, underground citters, occasional boss-type critter). You play for a fixed time (5, 15, 30, 60 minutes) and try to maximize your score and not get killed.

Pretty fun game. Starts off simple, gets progressively more interesting. A solid understanding of kinematics (e.g. how levers and pulleys work) definitely helps. The game is playable with both touchscreen and keyboard/mouse. Probably a bit easier with touchscreen.

Awesome little game. I guess I'd call this an... um... casually hardcore game. It's casual because it won't take up much time, controls are just 2 buttons, and is easy to get started. It's hardcore because it is very hard to master, and very intense. The easiest difficulty level is "hard". Individual "rounds" (or I guess "attempts") typically last a minute or less, but it will get your adrenaline going. Leaderboards and achievements will make you keep trying / joyfully suffering the punishing difficulty. Also -- the music is incredibly bleepy, I love it!

This game is SERIOUSLY difficult, but rewarding. This puzzle game is mix of process engineering, faux chemistry, and programming. It's a little intimidating at first, but built-in tutorials are excellent. Give it a try, if you're into challenging puzzles.
