This game is really, really stupid, and pretty broken. But it's also pretty fun.

This game is very good, but I had to write a review to tell you this: DO NOT play the redux version. It is full of typos, including a couple in the last section of the Lemurian Vampire DLC that make a puzzle unsolvable without making sentences that do not make sense in English. Also, the controller support, ostensibly the main reason for the redux version to exist, barely works. Many of the menu buttons do not do the correct thing, and frequently the cursor will magically become two cursors, or the cursor will select something other than the thing it's highlighting. Using the touch screen was the only reliable input method for playing this on Steam Deck. It seems like the redux version was outsourced and the QA on the product was non-existent, as the original version of the game did not have these kinds of problems.

All that said, this game is very good and I enjoyed every part of it. BUT PLEASE PLAY THE ORIGINAL VERSION

Early Access Review
There's not much to it but it's pretty fun anyway. Can't complain about spending $3 on it.

This game rips. Experimenting with combinations of god powers and weapon upgrades will keep you entertained for quite a long time.

The story is a bit contrived and hokey at times, but the level design is great, finding secrets is fun, and swinging around a lightsaber makes you actually feel like a Jedi.

A very unique game about exploration and discovery of your star system's past, present, and future. The only upgrade in this game is to your own knowledge; you immediately have all the tools you will ever need at your disposal and your ship can carry you everywhere you need to go. You just have to do a little better every time.

If you liked Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, or Dawn of Sorrow, you will like this game. AoS was my favorite GBA game, and DoS my favorite DS game, and I think this lives up to the legacy of both.
