I remember when I first found out about this and downloaded it about 10 years ago before Steam. There was no story, it was just "fight these guys" in various levels or do the arena fights.

Then a few years later, there was some story elements involved. It made the game more interesting, but still just a shell. Not much story and just more fights.

I just recently downloaded this game again here, and I've seen they've made major changes in the past couple of years. There is a storyline, and its more refined, One can get a little invested in it.

The fighting reminds me of Jedi Knight Outcast 1 and 2. There is a little bit of skill and finesse about it, but overall its just try to damage/kill the enemy more than they can damage you.
If you have a knife/sword its almost an immediate insta-kill for weapon-throwing sneak attacks if the enemy is not armored.

Some of the parkour elements are a bit tough to get down. I was stuck on one level for a good hour because I couldnt figure out how to progress until I finally figured it out. Some others rely on you just remembering how to use the buttons so you can jump off one wall while running to progress to the next area.

ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION TO HOW TO MOVE AROUND. Like previously stated, I found myself at a loss sometimes because I forgot how to do some of the parkour elements of this game.

Overall, this game has become so much more than what I remember playing, not only with storyline, but the gameplay has drastically increased. Almost every mission is a pure challenge, and treat to complete.

Cons: The missions are extremely short. most you can complete in a just a couple of minutes, others take some time due the number of enemies.
I will say its just annoying to go from point A to point B and *maybe* fight one guy, only to have there be dialog, then load the next area/mission immediately after.
It almost feels like if I were reading a book, those missions would be a one-page chapter, if that.

But overall, this game is fun and challenging. 7/10



NOT A REVIEW: Honestly I would love to see this game using the unreal engine. I bet it would look absolutely wonderful.

Never going to a Chuck-E-Cheeses' again...
