Oh no...

This game totally blew me away since its inception and I've been a die-hard fan ever since.
Awesome gameplay, utterly frustrating performance bottlenecks.
You see, the problem with this game is not the gameplay and story line, but everything else around it.
The bugs, the HUGE performance issues, the patches (for some people), hosting, joining prospects.
So, I have to guess, this is the developer's first real game, so the code behind the scenes is really crappy.
The graphics looks decent, but again the performance is a let down.
Every single article I read online on how to optimize the game on your PC, is just wild guesses and poking around. No one, including Mr Rocketwerkz himself, is just poking around, advising people to try this and try that. No real facts to support their claim.
For many reasons, it boils down to a combination of really bad game programming and UE4 optimization.
If you want to frustrate the living hell out of playing a game in 2021 / 2022, give this a "try". Ask for a refund within 24 hours. Was this game ready for production use? No. Will it frustrate you? Yes.

64 GB DDR4 Memory @ 3200 - GSKILL XMP - 2x 32 GB
2x Samsung M.2 NVMe 980 Pro 512 GB for OS and game separately.
2x nvidia RTX 3090's - only 1 is playable at a time, I know that.

This is an enthusiast PC btw, which cannot run the game.
I tried both GPU's, same issues.

DX11 and DX12 same performance issues - which again leads to poor game programming!

Main Menu screen 300 FPS
Select Character screen 275 FPS and 215 FPS - depending on where the character is, snow, forest, desert, space.
Gameplay - On a good day, 45 FPS, between 30 and 50 fps
On a bad day, 12 FPS
On a very good day, when a mission just started, 90 fps, but soon starts deteriorating to 45 fps after walking around.

CPU Load 20%
GPU Load 45% - 65% during gameplay

When friends join on you and you become the host, prepare to half your FPS. It becomes so laggy and choppy that its unplayable. When you join a friend and they the host, things do improve slightly and the FPS goes up to 60-70.

Changing graphics from Low to Epic and playing around with each and every setting made 0 impact on the game. Which leaves me to basic math and deduction of variables, poorly written game programming and optimization.

Biggest let down of 2021. Let's hope for a better game in 2022 by someone else.
