The brain dead combat and totally uninspired puzzles left me bored all the way through the 10 hour campaign... One thing I will give it credit for is the exploration used in getting the optional treasures. Sometimes I would explore my way outside of the map and wander around stuff in the background without collision, and that was kinda fun. The story is mediocre too, but I wasn't expecting much from it anyways, as I was more interested in the gameplay combination of puzzle and FPS.

Hard Reset is a strange mix of old school shooter ideals and newer FPS gameplay. You move pretty slowly and cannot shoot while sprinting, and the levels consist of moving from room to hallway shooting everything in sight. While the levels were very basic, they were definately very pretty. The graphics are a treat for the eyes, especially when everything is exploding around you. Personally I found most of the game simple and mindless but the boss fights were engaging and exciting. The boss fights are definately where this game shines and they are favorite moments. If you enjoy a mindless game where you make everything explode this will be up your alley.

A worthy sequel to the first Black Mirror. This game, released 8 years later than the first game, has improved on every aspect. The graphics are detailed and look great, the voice acting is... alright, but still better than the first game, and the story managed to keep a good continuation from the first game, which was not intended to have any sequels! The ending is a pretty big cliffhanger, but luckily Black Mirror III is readily available. The puzzles are excellent, and you won't have to google anything like the zodiac puzzle from the first game. Brilliantly designed and very well done on all fronts. Anyone who liked the first game will be blown away by this sequel.

I played this on my GOG Account without realizing I had it on Steam... Oops. Anyways, this point and click adventure is really quite something. It has a fascinating story and a unique perspective. Not very many video games have you playing a depressive man in his thirty-somethings in the british countryside. The atmosphere is spot-on and the pace is dreadfully slow... so make sure you like that kind of thing. The puzzles were lots of fun and I was always excited to see a new puzzle show itself. One specific puzzle gave me trouble because I don't know anything about strological signs, you might need to google what the signs are. Some people aren't too crazy about the ending, but I think it fits and is pretty resolute. If you might like a very well-crafted slow paced venture through the british countryside and it's many tombs, give this a go. It's pretty metal and a little boy dies.

I don't know why I bothered to beat this RPG. It wasn't very fun, the story was lame, and the characters were stupid and tropey. The combat was interesting but didn't really take advantage of the nuances that they could have.

I really enjoy picross, and because this is a great implementation of picross, i really enjoy Paint it Back. It does not do anything to modify the picross formula, so if you're looking for something new, this won't have it. But if you're looking for Picross, this is a very good clone and has many features including an unusally adept joystick support and just the right kind of music you would expect a picross game to have. I really enjoyed getting all the achievements because some of them require you to play in strange ways, like limiting the number of squares you can mark. The workshop support is pretty good but from what I remember it can be hard to organize the levels you've downloaded.

Definately my favorite jrpg. The story is way better than an action rpg should have, with many twists and turns. The combat system is also far more nuanced and dynamic than a normal action rpg, which allows for quite a bit of replayability along with the very complicated new game plus system on top of a pretty long story. The game also has local co-op with up to four players fighting in a battle at the same time, which is totally awesome. How many jrpgs can you play through as a group!? The end game content is great, especially the challenging Niflheim dungeon.

The vibration is really cool, triggers feel great, but definately shouldn't replace a mouse for games with aim. Very fun for regular controller games or mouse based games without precise aim required.
