i genuinely hate this game that being said i have finished it like 3 times 2 times with seamless coop just havin fun and i gotta say its much much much more enjoyable when you know wth you are doing

i have a very powerful system and im very used to high refresh rate gaming

that said some games like eldenring or older titles dont let you change fps officially meaning the game feels sluggish and with some games even breaking if you do manage to uncap these games so i used this to basically fake more fps and it feels so much better to me personally

lock game to 60fps or any other value you can consistently hit turn on frame gen 2.1 and bam game feels like it has double the fps this comes with a slight input delay since the game is still only 60 fps and has some artifacting at edges of the hud or screen or is a bit blurry in dark scenes apart from that this is very very promising

i can only reccomend

genuinely one of the best hitting storys ive expierienced in recent years its a bit on the short side but in my opinion it was very well worth the time and money spent

all i complained about has been fixed by now
but one more small thing but big issue the hands are misaligned with a quest 2 controller meaning your left hand is more towards the right and the right more towards the left making it hard to quickly grab a mag or bolt

long story short flawed but generally fun
technically it looks very good but doesnt run too well not just performance but in generall the expierience
i had to ask support to give me my preorder and digital deluxe edition items before launch at early access and once again after launch when i then told them "i still dont have my items..." i sent them my acc url and they manually just gave me my stuff so good on them for actually helping and im glad for that
now game performance ive had some issues like my 4080 r9 7950x combo being brought down to its knees during most combat scenes that being said graphically its very pretty and i do like the animation work and art style
gameplay run of the mill third person looter shooter its good and very fun to me and my gf we played and will continue playing it in coop
main issue is its mostly the same thing and every time you finish a 3minute long sequence you will be forced to accept loot and sit through some animations its annoying and ruins the flow of just flying through the city and tearing aliens apart you can tell they tried but made some questionable decisions

now to the big issue in a game called "KILL THE JUSTICE LEAGUE" youre going to do exactly that dont act surprised
its more of a humorous take on the entire thing and i personally like it


so i recommend this if you still have doubt wait for a sale but surely in coop its well worth the time atleast it was for me

so this is a short horror experience with some combat
so far its pretty good and im looking forward for more

my wish for now is only that there should be more combat

now your only objective: escape by all means, merciless destruction to those who stand in your way.
covered in blood and guts you reach an exit greeted by alpha 3 there to extract you.
another cycle has begun.

trepang²
is pretty much one of if not the best game ive played in... years
it wakes this feeling i used to have as a kid the excitement of redoing levels over and over but in a different fashion.
finding new strats.
new ways to play maybe silent maybe melee only maybe even with infinite ammo minigun and ads cheat if you wanna do that you can

the setpieces and environments all just look so grounded in the near future they wanna portray.
the story is just BREAK THE CYCLE all im gonna say on that one.
many pieces are told by finding little intel documents and drones to find in every main level well worth reading those.

the gameplay is 50shades of smooth the movement is responsive from sprinting to sliding to dropkicking the floor to get some extra air.
its some real john woo gunfoo action movie type stuff and that alone had me so addicted i got 111h on the demo alone playing the rage mode difficulty.

that brings me to difficulty the game has 6 difficultys to choose from easy, normal, hard, very hard, extreme, and then ragemode
all from easy to extreme is just increases in enemy reaction speed and damage taken rage mode on the other hand...
the descripion says "enemies have eyes on the back of their heads,instant reaction times and near perfect accuracy. only some kind of sick and twisted person could enjoy this..." none of that was exagerated.
when you choose rage mode it tells you "Rage Mode is insanely difficult. basically anything will kill you instantly. it is NOT recommended unless you have a minimum of 50 hours spent on this game. our publisher even asked us to remove this mode. are you sure you want to proceed?"
i think this speaks for itself this mode is insanely hard harder than the 2022 demo. it is surely possible and i have gotten "close" to doing all the levels deathless not in one run but i havent put time into that yet

now imagine you have an insanely hard game that just feels so incredibly smooth underlined by the music of the genious Brandon McKagan
the ost is an absolute chef´s kiss its its own genre of metal mixed with various other types and calls itself trepangcore
in the words of brandon himself. "throughout the 2 and a half years that i´ve been working on the soundtrack for Trepang² i´ve learned a lot of things and one thing stood out the most, i needed to make this soundtrack as bold and as chaotic as Trepang itself." now this is an "old" quote but it all still applies very very much'

i want to personally thank the devs a lot for letting me be a part of this game by giving me early access and taking my feedback
a game made by 4 people surpasses any AAA game ive played the last 7 years
this game is a personal 10/10 i cant express enough how much of a masterpiece it is for me

im sure its well worth its pricetag and you will enjoy it

after playing 50 minutes getting used to the controls already love it only problem i have is i cant seem to find a setting to make smooth turn quicker and be able to move faster while 2handing weapons without aiming kinda like pavlov other than that can only recomend

edit they have fixed the the issue with walking speed while 2 handing the weapon now you only move slower when aiming down sights
smooth turn speed got fixed
after getting all the guns i can say they feel really good but a bit too floaty sometimes
except the kar98k when pulling the bolt youd expect to pull up then back forth and down but in the game its more like pull back and then forth. you will loose bullets if you try to do it like you would in real life

out of all for 21 bucks this is a good game with a bunch of replayability due to the random levels

after a unlocking everything on ps3 back in the day finally im back playing this and its better than ever

bought the game twice for sixty bucks and its very worth it
