Short Review: Amazing game. Tight controls. Challenging but forgiving. Lots to do.

It took me a long while to figure out how to describe this game in a review. Raw? Primal? There is something in Thumper that just triggers a part of my brain that isn't intelligence but just an instinct. Survival. This is a game you have to feel. Blast it in your headphones. Pump it out your speakers and just let it envelop you. It can be seen as a standard rhythm game, match the prompts, play through the level. But when I played it I was entranced and couldn't get away from it. I have not felt this way since I first played Amplitude which was the first rhythm game I ever purchased.

Amazing game that doesn't take itself seriously. I kind of wish it did even more of that. Very crude humor but that is a very good thing. Play with a buddy and it makes the game even better.

This game as a surprise to me. I got it on a whim of lack of games that I felt like playing (but I had tons in backlog of course) imagine a side view binding of isaac. A roguelike-lite game where you get seriously op but the enemies scale over time as well. Do you try to burn through the game or get godlike?

Hey another person recommending Portal 2! 'nuff said.

The trolling is strong in this game. That is the best way to play. Get some good buddies and try to finish the game while blowing each other up. Full friendly-fire and a really neat magic mechanic. Check out the screenshots and gather up some friends
