Review on May 2023: Devs hate red and I like red. Positive
Review on June 2023: Devs like red again. Negative
Review on August 2023: Devs New neutral cards. Red adjustments, mostly buffs. Positive.
Deck limit is flexible now. There is a good number of new original cards and mechanics. It's almost there. The game is in a good direction towards becoming a proper sequel.

among ccg's this one's one of the easier to grind for necessary materials.

Gamplay-wise, the 5x9 board, a general that can attack, and fast draw mechanics offer a new dimension to the game. It's almost as if it were a turn-based fighting game.

Fair warning though: the devs aren't updating the game at the moment. They did prepare for leaving the game in the same state for a while though, so there're bi-monthly boss fights, and a "for the long haul" patch. Right now, there are 3-4 deck archetypes that are a bit more oppressive than this game used to have, and they happen to be piloted by people who have been playing for quite some time already. I encourage getting creative with deck-building since that's a fun way to find out things about the game, but it's in your best interest to manage your own expectations on how well your memes perform.

The game great, and i honestly think it's got more potential. So please give it a try, and maybe more people will see how great this game is, and could be. Hopefully, among those people would be the publisher and the devs.

Great point and click game. The unique interactions between almost every combination of item and situation makes the game a lot less frustrating, which is common in a lot of point and click games. The story is great and the characters are lovable. It seems accessible enough to people who haven't read homestuck. It's probably a gateway drug for all i know.

As of September 30, there are some typos and weird iteractions with the animal book. devs pls fix

-controllers not necessary when playing coop (there are keyboard controls)
-the story is pretty nice. it's kind of a like an interactive movie tbh. what you have to do is pretty obvious
-in case you someone didn't tell you (as was in my case), this game is morbid and traumatizing.
-it's pegi 16 for a reason.
-it's pegi 16 for one reason alone.
-I quote myself, "what you have to do is pretty obvious" (see: "it's pegi 16 for one reason alone")

Okay this game is really amazing. Awesome music. The art is pretty cool too imo. And the story? Bomb.
This game is so worth your time, not to mention free.

The first few bits are somewhat monotonous, but don't let that fool you! you get to more controls and interactions as you progress through the game. You'll get a total of 4 skills, but since the game is pretty short, it's actually just enough.
If I would pick a con, it would be that there's no character customization. Progression here is pretty linear.
