FF3 is quite possibly my favorite in the series. The world and characters are still as amazing as they were 30+ years ago on the Famicom. The soundtrack has some of what I consider to be Uematsu's greatest compositions and the remade soundtrack emphasizes that with gusto. The job system, while more primitive in comparison with its later incarnations, is a charming addition to the series bringing us the first examples of classes such as Geomancer, Bard, Sage, and many more that are now series staples. Out of the three distinct versions of FF3 (being the Famicom original, the 3D remake, and this Pixel Remaster) if you were looking to dive into this entry, then the Pixel Remaster is by far the most accessible in terms of availability and game feel. Couldn't recommend it any more than I already have.

This game deserves more credit than it gets. Yes it’s not perfect, but behind all the bugs and glitches is a fantastic game with an even better yet under appreciated soundtrack.

FF7's a classic and all (bit overrated) but my main issue is the DRM and subpar controller support.
I recommend this game, but not this port. Either emulate it or mod the hell out of the 98 pc port

Warframe is a unique game in how there isn't really anything like it. The fact that the speed of the game and the wide array of Warframes allow you to play with your playstyle and at your pace.
The grinding aspect however, can be a turnoff. Yes everything in the game is free to access, but it makes you work HARD for certian frame pieces or weapon parts.
The community is more helpful than you'd expect and the squad mode with friends can be a blast or a pain (like multiplayer should be, how you want it).
In the end, I recommend giving it a shot before shoving it away.

Yume Nikki was a game I've been meaning to play for years, but was always turned off by it (not a fan of psychological horror tbh) but after the steam release came I thought, eh why not. The various dream world were very atmospheric (even though fangames like Yume 2kki has objectively better worlds) and I loved the multiple nods to the Mother series. I may come back to this game simply because I pussied out on some events, but for being the kickstart of the RPGMaker horror game scene, Yume Nikki isn't all that bad.

I am interested to see how the remake will play out...

I went into this thinking "It's going to be a lot like Cave Story" and I was wrong. Although it is done by the same developer, Kero Blaster has a very different mentality. As it was originally a mobile game, it plays like one. But other than that hurdle, it's a great game with a neat C64 aesthetic and an amazing soundtrack to boot.
