I've been playing CS:GO for more than four years. There's been many highs and many lows, but overall it's a good game.

However, there are a couple of problems I have with the game.

First off, now that CS:GO is free to play, it's more difficult now than ever for new players to get into the game, as non-prime matchmaking is riddled with cheaters, making the base game virtually unplayable. After the game went free to play, the amount of cheaters has skyrocketed. So if you're a new player and want to seriously get into CS:GO, purchasing Prime Status is a good idea.

Secondly, the competitive ranking system is completely arbitrary. Skill groups can have little to no correlation with players' actual skill level. I've seen Master Guardians and Legendary Eagle Masters that are terrible and Silvers that are more than decent at the game. Maybe if Valve added seasons to competitive play (much like other Esports), players' skill groups would reflect their true skill level, as their skill group would be calibrated/recalculated every once in a while.

Despite these things, CS:GO is a good game. I've had lots of fun playing it in these past four years, and it was an integral part of my childhood. It's easy to learn, hard to master, and fun to play.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is a very good game. This game does have its ups and downs, but overall, it's great. It's fun, but it is sometimes rage-inducing. Even though you could smash your computer after dying, I would still recommend it.
