What can you say about the game Stalker 2? It is Stalker. It's not a game with over-the-top graphics, endless looting or pointless special effects, but it's definitely a game that isn't boring. The game doesn't try to keep the player on the line with bad dialog, boring missions or acquiring useless items, and it runs, guess what, on Linux. The only negatives, aside from a few bugs, are that the controls can't be customized to fit other than American keyboards, and there is currently no native controller support. And almost forgotten, the English voice acting seems, well, a little too English, but Ukrainian is cooler anyway. If you love playing video games like in the older days and not watching them or collecting pointless stuff, then the game is definitely for you. But as you probably know from the old days, video games should also be challenging in terms of difficulty. If that doesn't put you off, have some fun.

The GTA franchise is very famous and has a long history. I played all games of the franchise. The setting of the game does not vary that much and the gameplay is done as open world game as ever. They haven’t done a complete redesign of the game.
I can recommend the single player very much but a lot of the missions do not have the originality the older games have. In this game most of the missions are about to kill different people and the difficulty of the game is very easy compared to the older games of the franchise.
What I really like about this game and this is also the most important difference of the franchise: It has a very good multiplayer mode. I think its technically very complicated to offer an open world game like this to a lot of players at the same time. They did a very good job.
What I don’t like about the multiplayer: The focus is on competitive gaming and not on cooperative gaming. There are definitely problems like disconnects, lagging and loading time which makes the competitive playing impossible and boring. And the anti cheating measures are not done very well because you will find a lot of hackers on the servers. The online mode is definitely a step in the right direction and has a lot of potential but they have to fix a lot of technical issues.

After playing for more than 400 hours I have also nominated the game for an award.
