As a fan of reus 1, reus 2 is the reimagined better version of the game. Taking away tedious gameplay elements like greed and the need to reroll aspects for higher level biota, the game instead promotes planning and clever use of synergies.

For those who haven't played reus: this game in short revolves around a god-game puzzle-like loop, in which you create animals, plants and minerals to aid humans in developing projects. As you help them, you get more options in what you place, granting you choice and allowing you to combine synergies for optimal resource gain, compounding into even more choice and synergies.
8.5/10, hopefully gets even better with more updates.

The good:
God game with fun twist
Lots of variety and ways to play with the different town lords
Good art and lots of variety in animal and nature thats included in the game


The less good:
The gameplay loop doesn't change no matter how far along you get. If it's not for you after 5-6h of gameplay then it probably won't be after 10+
It's definitely also a puzzle game, if you don't like that then you might want to think twice.
The endgame achieves can be pretty hard, requiring you to strategise optimally, which is a good challenge but can be frustrating.
