It's really nice.

Really nice Christmas gift, played a lot; multiplayer still seems alive if at times threadbare.

Things worth looking up that shouldn't spoil the game:

Soul memory and summoning/invasion ranges (soul acquisition has a second tally for multiplayer thresholds)
Agility (levelling certain stats gives this secondary stat levels too, and it determines i-frames and estus sipping speed)
Power stancing (when dual wielding some weapons, you get the "power stance" moveset to swing with)

It's different enough from the 1st and the 3rd Dark Souls to feel fresh and I don't think I've really encountered any bugs.

Dying is a feature, souls are temporary, bearerseekseeklest.

Breathtakingly spectacular, this experience only goes to show what it means to connect a previously intangible emotion with a forward thinking sensation of the now, like the brief nostalgia of brushing your teeth after a life-changing meal. It's about reflection, and Dark Souls 3 pools in the back of the mind as if a glimpse of a mirrored surface on a lake's shore, before the siren's teeth show. 5/7 would get ganked again.

Like an ikea trip, but faster and cheaper.

Excellent fun, although a little buggy at times. Careful with the Sam and Frodo level where they need to get their Mordor outfits to sneak past the guard posts.
