One of the simplest games, yet so intensely satisfying to explore and conquer. The simplest mechanic has the greatest outcome.

Simple yet addictively fun, especially with a friend by your side. The chaos that ensues and the cute cartoonish style finish the whole thing nicely.

you've heard this many time over: easy to pick up, incredibly hard to master. a game with such an amazing curve in intensity, completely subjected to your playing style. There's so many ways you can have a go at this. Mine is not even particularly succesfull, but just progressing through the whole mass is the reason i start over many times.

I'm probably terrible at this game. Tried it a few times and i suck! Xcom - Enemy unknown was a bit easier in my opinion but mayeb that's because i've put many more hours into it (for now...). It's a great strategy game that is quite unforgiving to mistakes but definetly has a learning curve that doesn't become too frustrating. Time management en resource management are both very important so if you stress out easily (and don't like this in a game) this is not for you. If you, however, like a challenge and like an oppurtunity to play in co-op!! (mod is available in community section of the game) you will be swayed by the great mechanics, many options, though enemies and lovely turn based tactical combat.

I've played this with a friend and we were done within half an hour. The storytelling compells for a few moments but after that we were just clicking through the motions untill something new would happen, but it wouldnt.

The game ended and all we did was click to another day, read some text, made a decision and waited for the next day. There's no actual gameplay involved, just some desicions to make, and by the way the days evolved i'm guessing the replay value is almost none.

Not recommending it.

AMD buyers beware,

Allthough kind of rare these days, Some people using AMD graphics cards may not be able to play the game. At all.

Some stupid AMD drivers won't work, and since no one seemed to be able to find a solution for this, I still haven't played a single frame of this game, and I'll pbb will never be able to unless i get another computer or another graphics card. I requested a refund for this.

aliens are nasty ass beings. It's a good thing this game is loaded with guns n stuff. diesnt make it any easier though.
