I'm kinda addicted rn because its so unrepetitive

Although Ava is more bearable here than in the main story, this DLC is still definitely not worth the 15€ asking price.

Reason Nr. 1:
-There are no new planets, only areas in basegame planets. This is not a massive complaint, as I obviously like the style of the pre-existing areas. However, it does mean that assets from those planets were lazily reused, making the price even more ridiculous.

Reason Nr. 2:
-The missions themselves. Although I liked hanging out with Lorelei and Clay, the missions did almost just feel like regular side missions, since they are so short. For comparison, Bounty of Blood and the Hammerlock wedding DLCs both took me around 3-4 hours to play through the main quests. Ava's stupid podcast missions only took me 1 hour, meaning theres only around 1.5 hours of content (if you need 30 min to beat the raid boss).

Reason Nr. 3:
-The gear. Although the super soldier, revolter and free radical are awesome, I could easily live without them. I hate battle royale games, but I would still choose Arms race (which contains useful gear such as beskar, tizzy and Plasma coil) over directors cut.

Reason Nr. 4:
-The new maps are linear like no others. I get that there is a story that is told during the podcast missions, but now that I have finished them, there is absolutely no reason for me to return, other than to farm. No mini-bosses, no collectibles, nothing to shoot, such as the Torgue's hot sauce bottles in Jack's Casino.

Reason Nr. 5:
-This is a personal thing, which is why I put it last, but to be honest I really do not care about the behind the scenes content. After all, I play Borderlands to shoot and loot, not to watch movies about how the main story should have gone.

Story is meh.

Gameplay is pretty good, lots of unique weapons. Had favorites within one playthrough

Immersion: yes

Satisfying level ups: oh yea

Skills: More than you want

Characters: Nice selection + well balanced

Lots of bugs and crashes tho

Its fun af.

It's better than Nfs Rivals and Payback for sure. Don't expect good story telling though.
