I was lucky enough to get a code for this game a month or so before it went into early access, so I've been able to see it grow from very little to what it is now. This game has some really great art, style, a fun and intuitive UI (super important for VR), great music, and just an overall good game concept. I look forward to playing this game as it grows into a truly unique and interesting RTS VR experience.

After the 1.4 update this pretty much plays like an entirely different game. The AI and the physics are much improved, and it\'s a lot more challenging and fun now. Highly recommend if you are looking for a racquetball/tennis sort of game that will give you a decent workout.

Well it took them what seems like forever to fix the "dev mode" bug, but they finally did. So I'm updating my review to "thumbs up". This is a very fun game if you are looking for a fast paced action FPS, like Serious Sam, Hard Reset, and of course the original Doom game.



Original Review:

Unplayable right now due to a bug which will cause your save game to be randomly flagged as being in "developer mode" causing all achievements and collectibles to be disabled, as well as multiplayer and SnapMap sharing. Bethesda's response to this is that we are using the console to cheat and the only fix is to delete your save and restart the entire game. In reality, it's happening to many people completely randomly. It seems that any time the game closes unexpectedly (crash, system hang, etc) it will then flag your save as being in developer mode.

Bethesda refuses to acknowledge there is a problem and if they are even working on a solution. Zero response from ID as well. You can check the discussion forum to find the long thread of people all having the same issue.
