(this is gonna be really long, so skip to the bottom if you just want to know if i would recommend it, of which i do)

this was pretty much my first steam game from my brother (gifted), i can honestly say that this game has been with me for a good while, although admittedly i play more PAYDAY 2 than this (due to more content and weapons to keep satisfactory if your willing to either be the vulture or the pheasant) this game definitely is not to be snuffed at. if Overkill did go for the classic design of AI in PAYDAY 2 we'd be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ourselves and demanding more weapons to give the edge, and while yes they're trying to get that effect (with the whole 'one down' difficulty) it's not really working.

now in terms of the nostalgic side of the game: i missed the whole side talking that the gang did, made them seem more 'human' than game characters, which was really good imo, and while i respect Overkill for the fact they're trying to improve upon an old formula, they could have at least kept some things as little tip-bits that made PAYDAY The Heist (gonna sound really biased now) 'the best' in four-player co-optional gameplay out of all of the FPS genre.

overall: it's a really good game and i encourage anyone who is a fan of FPS team games to play this, oh and watch out against the cops in PAYDAY The Heist, they're incredibly strong.

Prison Architect made by Introversion Software is a brilliant sandbox game, you can sit there for ages on end playing it until you've bored yourself to death with vanilla, then you can play around with the steam workshop for mods or just prison sharing. I got the game from a gift when it was in Alpha 13, when escape tunnels had just come in but there was no way to deal with them, so I was enjoying myself with the game until mods were added in the game. I enjoyed the Alpha development until here we are now in update 3, if you can sit there and be creative whilst using mods to improve your game, go for it, it's a grand idea and it's more enjoyable whilst doing so, i can't wait for new sstuff to come out later on and i hope it lasts for a decent amount of time (and hope to god there is no Pay2Skip/Pay2Win elements)

4. me swearing (from raging) with the game

I find myself in amaze when I first played the game; My first ever gameplay as I start my gaming quest thinking of what factions are there and what's the best tactics with them, I was then thinking 'the tutorial will only cover one faction [which it did, the Rebels tutorial, no Combine] which meant I decided to skip tutorial and go to a Skirmish and I played it as the Combine (it chose that as defualt) I was already thinking to myself about other RTS games I've played/seen people play (Starcraft 2, Age of Empires, Company of Heroes and Command and Conquer tiberian series {of course}) as it reminded me of those games:

Building as the Combine means you have to build Power Generators to not only get the other resourse but so you have area of influence (this reminded me of the Protoss in Starcraft 2 because you needed pylons to build a functional base) then you may build things as you see fit; however I can understand that building Power Generators and watch them blow up and you built a building that needed power this can really kick you in the kisser as the building doesn't function like it should and you can get royally pissed off by it (I've seen the burden and even felt it now and then).

Building as the Rebels on the other hand feels as though you've been forced to enjoy a different type of work with them (believe me, once I tried the Rebels straight from the Combine {feeling a little cocky about it thinking if winning was that easy with the Combine, maybe it's just as easy with the Rebels, DON'T make this mistake if your the person who wants this game} I was furious about how they don't have a ranged based building style and you have to get in the buildings personal space to build it, this made me think of the terrans as you have to get in the buildings area just to get it built or it's a mess), yes it means you can build anywhere on the map without forced areas but believe me, when your used to Combine, you don't want to change to Rebels (well that's me thinking starcraft 2 being over and done with).

resources, you need them, requision and (Combine) power/(Rebels) scrap (this really made me think Age of Empires with the resource collecting), requision is gained from control points/flag poles and your first headquarters, your HQ is the first thing you get that produces requision (as it usually is), you get more from taking control points yourself, you can fortifiy them to add more requision per second (I don't know how long it is per requision point so I'm meerly guessing), they start from 0.1 and the first fortification will increase it by 0.9, giving you a whole requision, you can fortifiy it again to get 1.5 requision and that's it, however do watch out, your enemy can shoot them down which means defences are needed (seriously, if your a person who takes control points and builds defences around it [basically turtling] then that is highly customary to know that) so do prepare for an attack from the enemy.

(now let's start with the Combine's alternate resource for obvious reasons) power is obtained from Power Generators (if you didn't know that, my god you need an IQ test {it's a figure of speech, may hurt, but I meant it like I was playing}) however you can't obtain it without some sort of battery pack (the Power Storage), this will add 50 power capacity and can be increased however big you want it to be.

(now the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ little tag-nut Rebels) Rebels need scrap as their alternate resource, this is found in pits of (obivously) scrap, which means your engineers have to put their necks on the line to get just three meer pieces of scrap (worth it [!]) agrovating is best described for this as this could be a war of your mind exploding and you wanting to yell your nuts off to someone because of how much you rage from the game (personally I'd be so mad I'd send someone over to whomever made this game and either put a bullet in their heads or make them shove their stiffy through a CD disc while someone records it and gives it to a porn site but changing the disc for a women).

unit movement is like the old versions of Command and Conquer tiberian series with the buttons of movement, attack and all that fun jazz, but i found this quite interesting how you an also defend your infantry there (that's where the Company of Heroes comes to play), this makes gameplay a lot more interesting though the one thing i'm not overly keen on is when you play the Rebels against Combine, you find ourself to be weaker because of health and armour not being the best it could be while if it were vice versa you'd be too over-powering on the Rebels with just metro cops with little pistols (though i think it's best to say they are pea shooters than anything) and that alone can help you win a game against the rebels, but it's the exact opposite where you need all sorts of infantry to attack, a whole swarm of partisans just to take out a base, you'd be lucky if any survive the onslaught of Combine soldiers that go after you as those guys are tough cookies.

so my conclusion is:

the game depending on who you are and what you like in an RTS game can be making people think that it's a really great game, others are probably thinking 'Oh great, another RTS game, and this time it's thinking about Half-Life 2, I like Half-Life 2 but to make a real-time strategy game of it is going too far.' so even though htis game has it's ups and downs (like all games) but something about this game shines, since a confirmation of a newly-said 'Half-Life 3' shall be approaching, this I find will probably remind all of us about the second Half-life game that I wish gave a DLC so you can play as Barney Cowlhoon to know his story and when they were together, but then again, it means they'd have to go an extra mile and find a suitible voice actor to play as Gordon Freeman even though Gordon is a silent person who people can think of anything about him, like someone could say he's really Jesus Christ in a game (I'm an atheist so I don't imagine Gordon as some guy with long hair, blue eyes and wears a robe all the time [Gordon Freeman doesn't have long hair, blue eyes and wears a robe, he has short hair, brown eyes and either is found in a lab coat or his hazardous enviromental suit that we don't know how it was MK4 {where was MK1, MK2 or MK3 when you needed them} in the first game as is now the MK5 in the second game, next minute they decide they'll upgrade it to the MK6 in the next game cause they're soft like that] which then is wrecked by romans who then stick him on a wooden christian cross and says 'be crusified you holy phrophet' (he isn't a phrophet either, he's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ theoretical physist in a fancy alloy jumpsuit and can wield crowbars and guns like a bad man just to kill metro cops who are humans {probably was once United States Marines} then some random creatures who are the backbone of Combine just to go around Half-Life world [though I think it's best we call it 'Oddworld' if you know that name, either from hearing it or playing it {it is a game}, you are awesome]). so yes, it's good enough for me to be all for it, but no, I'm not overly keen on the story it tries to follow and if i could suggest a addition to the game, add more vehicles like a stun gun buggy, a Combine chopper, chopper chaingun hovercraft and a Combine Armoured Personal Carrier (stun gun buggy and chopper chaingun hovercraft to the Rebels and a helicopter and APC for the Combine)

This game is one of my favorite's, taking it from the cartoonic version of pandemic and making it more reality, I just love the game, I hope more plagues are obtained and so I think everyone who studing to be a doctor can use this as some sort of guide to know what will happen if the plague were to evole and become something lethal as damn, and thanks to the newest plague: the Simian plague, you can turn the pathetic human race back into what they were before, APES!!! I just can't wait for new plagues to come out, keep working on it guys.
