This is really, really good. Has a ton of long term potential if this gets continually updated. In it's current state it's worth the five bucks but you quickly learn what synergies will "break the game" and there aren't enough items or upgrades to make each run a tremendously different experience. I think if items could be upgraded multiple times and there was a bigger item pool with more levels or random events this could be amazing.

Still very fun though and I love this game for what it is.

Great gambling simulator

Update: By going into the Nvidia graphics menu (Alt + X), setting the graphics to custom, and forcing "Ultra Performance", I can actually get 20-30 fps at 4K and have a really consistent experience. I recommend this now. I'll leave the old review for history sake.

Really, really hard to recommend this game in it's current state. At 4K, the lighting bouncing off the remastered geometry is stunning. It's only unfortunate that currently only RTX4090 cards can run at that resolution and remotely get close to a 60 fps target.

I am running a 12gb RTX3060 with an i7-12700k, and I get 5-12 fps. I can drop it to 1080p for a 30ish FPS experience, but the pretty light tracing effects are lost with such a resolution downscale. This leads to a very blurry game that leaves original 1080p Portal looking high quality in comparison.

If you have a 3000 series card, give it a shot to understand yourself how poorly this runs, or at the very least bump it into 4K so you can get a glimpse of the future at five frames a second.

I would like to recommend this, but cannot until the general public can actually run this.

I am an avid gamer, a gamer who plays all kinds of video games to get different feelings and emotions for them. And nothing had compared, to the feelings I began to feel when I first played Bejeweled Twist.

I have played games such as Skyrim, Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4, and they are all ok I guess. But this is the first game I have ever felt romantically involved with. I get home from a late day of work, working minimum wage, with nothing to do except for wallowing in my self pity and hatred. But when I feel sad and like I could die, Bejeweled Twist has always been there for me. Every gem I twist I feel a flame of confidence and happiness build up inside of me. As the multiplier builds up, so does my heart. And every round I pass, I feel like I could dance for hours. The bomb gems make the game scary at points, but it gives us a great life reminder. That although life has happy points, eventually life will run out of chances, and everything will end. Just like Bejeweled Twist when I trigger a bomb gem.

Overall this game is a 10/10, and not just a game, but a best friend. Buy this game today, and if your life is feeling rough, once you start twisting those gems and exploding lightning gems your heart will scream with delight and your body will dance with euphoria.
