My favorite part was when the Jaguars said "It's smoking time!" and then died of lung cancer.

Pros:
Nostalgic.
Gameplay holds up today.
Bots offer a decent challenge and have adjustable difficulty.
There are still multiplayer servers and communities, and some interesting gamemodes and mods.

Cons:
The game's price is purposely kept above its actual value so people will have to pay more to play Garry's Mod.

Verdict: I give this a conditional reccomendation. If you want to play an older, classic, or challenging game and are willing to pay more than $10 for a decade-old game, this is for you. If you're not into older games, don't want to pay this much for one, or want to play something new, there's always Global Offensive.

If you're here to play Garry's Mod. Power to you. Gmod can still be considered worth $40 by some since it gets regularly updated with new features.

The main quest is a bit short IMO, but the new areas, creatures, skills, weapons, sidequests, and challenges [Warning: The main quest is geared towards late-game levels, so unless you want to face ebony-wielding draugr overlords and stronger enemies at level 10 you might want to build up your character on the mainland a bit before starting Dragonborn's main questline.] more than make up for it. The lore expanded upon in Dragonborn is also quite interesting, from elaborating on the displacement of Morrowind's people to introducing a new plane of Oblivion and its prince's motives.

In my book, this game has the same problem as Enstranged: It looks absolutely beautiful, but doesn't know what it wants to be.
The light-based stealth gameplay in the beginning sets the game up to be a stealth shooter, then you obtain the gravity concussion gun, which introduces what might be an element of puzzle solving to the game, which you think would go great with the stealth until the whole light-dark concept is abandoned in the next chapter. The next chapter does however, focuses more on the gravity concussion gun 'puzzles,' which consist of you breaking doors open, outrunning a zombie horde, and jumping onto one roof. Then comes the final level, where the game reverts back to vanilla half life 2 as you fight a handful of combine soldiers and three striders (Which the gravity concussion gun has zero effect on, what fun!)

Do I reccomend it? Yes, because this makes a nice concept that is fun to play with. I hope an SDK and steam workshop intergration is added in the future, so mappers can make their own levels revolving around the new concept.

Steam has officially invented the new rock bottom of porting. Even an hour of modding, tinkering, and patching won't get this to work.

The scavenge ability is amazing, especially if you research the techs associated with it. The campaign is also kind of fun too. (Especially with how hammy the leader is, really makes it feel that much more like a GC2 callback.)
