It's been a while that a game pulled me in so much! Lots of fun, the joys of tactical shooter without the annoyances in the name of "realism" ;)

Good community (use a mic, talk to people, help each other!), fun quests, and somewhat balanced in-game economy, that allows you to actually afford good gear simply based on earning from missions, letting you to experiment and find what you like. It also helps combat gear fear. Switching between PvE and PvP seamlessly while keeping the gear/progress is delightful - great for when I want to relax and not worry about LZ camping while playing solo. And it all only gets better if you're playing with a good squad!

The game has some bugs and aspects that need polishing, but as things stand - it has a very bright future, and a certain "magnetism" that keeps me returning every evening. I played this game for more time since it came out 3 weeks ago (total of just over 50 hours), than the combined time I played every other game since the start of the year!!!

So much potential! But lots of initial pains. I hope the game continues being improved, and community grows, as there's a lot here to like.

Pros:
• The shooting mechanics are fun!
• Good/adequate graphics
• Factions are easy to visually distinguish
• Plenty of ammo to get into and last in a firefight
• Pleasant, raw sounds
• Time to kill is pretty serious, no clowning around 😉


Cons:
- by far the biggest issue: INPUT IS VERY JANKY. Examples:
- If I'm crouching and press sprint, I want to sprint (but that doesn't happen, unless I stand up first)
- If I'm aiming down the sight and press sprint, I want to sprint (but that doesn't happen, unless I stop aiming first)
- If I'm sprinting and then press right mouse button to aim, I want to aim (but that doesn't happen, unless I stop sprinting)
- If I press sprint as I'm vaulting, I'd like to be sprinting after vaulting animation (but that doesn't happen, I have to release shift and press again)
- And there's some artificial delay after animations? Eg animation of reaching for grenade is done, but I need to wait half a sec before I can throw it

And there's a lot of rought edges, and insufficient fit and finish:
- Weapons render inside of walls if you approach them too close
- It's difficult to quickly orient yourself on the map - hard to find our POI (maybe it could have some blinking animation?)
- Missing highlight on scoreboard to find yourself easily
- Scoreboard isn't even sorted?
- AI bots herd behavior - they run in groups, and die together


I could keep going, but - the game has HUGE potential. And all of the above can be fixed, improved, changed.

I had fun, looking forward to more! Can't wait to see how it continues to grow and evolve.

Disappointing, too much EA influence, not enough of original Battlefield. Quality goes down with every new game in the series.

What an adventure it has been!

Do yourself a favor, don't read or watch anything more about this game to avoid spoilers, and discover it all by yourself. The way new mechanics are explained, completely different environments on each of the planets, pieces of the story falling into place - it's a unique experience, driven by passion from the developers and story telling that will keep you engaged till very end.

I wish I could play this game once again not knowing anything about it, and experience it all just as I had a chance the first time around ;)
