if you combine 3 iron ore with 2 sticks you could either craft a pickaxe or a regular axe. Both of these tools are very important for different tasks. A pickaxe can be used to mine important materials such as diamonds, and gold. An axe however is only used to break down wood items made of wood. If you ever see lava, you are able to craft a bucket with 3 iron and grab the lava. with the lava you are able to make an infinate cobblestone generator, or you can use it as fuel in a furnace (it will last 100x longer than coal). all in all, i would reccomend a noose for suicide
