Just trash, honestly. Only bought it to play it with someone else. Game looks like an unfinished Unity project, and plays just about the same. The combat feels like slop, and is near unresponsive. You can try to block, but the game really doesn't give any clear indication as to when it does and does not work. It just felt like abusing the roll and having one person to bait was the only viable strategy. Not to mention dying within 10 minutes of leaving the starting area. You're still wearing rags, and then get your ♥♥♥♥ kicked in by armored bandits. Literally everything kicks your ♥♥♥♥ in. Everything. For your own sake, go play literally anything else Prime Matter published. This game just is not it.

The five minutes of gameplay I have been able to enjoy were good, however the game crashes so often I can't progress beyond the first few segments of the game. Access violations everywhere. Will update my review if this is fixed.

Did some troubleshooting. If you're getting crashes, run this game in admin. Or else it will not run. Plain and simple.

Basically burned 35 dollars. I came into this expecting a AAA VR release, not something that makes half-baked indie games look good. You'd be better off just buying Saints and Sinners, then pretending it's Metro. This game runs like hot ♥♥♥♥ on a RTX 4060 Ti and i7-13700 with 32 gigs of DDR4 RAM. Horrible stutters, total freezes at random. I didn't even get half an hour into the game before encountering a crash. Hell, I didn't even make it 15 minutes before getting a FPS drop down to 12 FPS. Sickening, and absolutely unacceptable for VR title. There are games out there that have double the graphical fidelity, and run twice as well. My first impressions were so bad that I don't even want to make my poor PC suffer through another 15 minutes of this punishment. Not to mention the unskippable white text scenes, the disorienting third person cutscenes, and the unskippable opening credits. Not going to be playing this again until they fix this buggy mess. Unacceptable state to release a title in. Deep Silver has done better, and can do better than this. It's a disgrace to their name and series.

The most fun you'll ever have with an old shooter..

This game is amazing. From the aesthetic to the insanely smooth gunplay and good music. It's beautiful. My only suggestion is that there should be and option to disable mouse inversion when you're flipping upside-down.
