This is the best tactics game I've played since Into The Breach. There's a great feeling of freedom and outsmarting enemies, and the fully-rewindable turns encourage doing silly stuff to see what works. I'm probably halfway through the main campaign but there's so much extra content I'm enjoying playing the side quests just as much. And pushing people out of windows is never not fun.

One of the most incredible games I've played in recent years. It made me excited to play and every new screen is a new discovery. If you grew up playing adventures on the Spectrum/BBC Micro like Citadel, Palace of Magic, and Castle Quest, or platformers like Chuckie Egg, Ghouls and Tarzan, this game is for you.

I've not read any reviews of this game so I could make up my own mind without any bias. It has enough variety to keep me interested and the skill progression feels right. I'm really enjoying the game, 66 hours in and I'm not even all the way through the story missions yet.

Amazing, a true return to form for the series. Brings together the whole canon in unexpected and pleasing ways.

Spelunky is the greatest game ever made.

This game has so much depth to it, I feel I'm going to be playing it for a long time to come. Planning out moves and carefully considering the consequences of every action, combined with the amazing array of variety in environmental, level and enemy features gives every playthrough new challenges and more rewarding ways of winning. As you learn more and more about cause and effect you become more adept at planning but there are enough surprises and difficult decisions to make to keep it fresh and interesting.
