I enjoyed this game although at times it was hard to tell how to progress, but that was part of its charm. Gamers who like to be spoonfed each step will not like this game, however I like figuring things out on my own even if it takes a while. It took me 7 hours to complete without looking up any hints, so it's not a 2 hour game like you might think from online playthroughs.

It works very well and it's optimised, at least in my system. However, the chaos realm battles which are part of the campaign are too long. Hold 3 victory points while being attacked by multiple waves of enemies. It took me over an hour to hold the first victory point and conquer the next. That would be half-way through that campaign battle. Sorry, but I don't have 3+ hours to do a single battle with my current lifestyle. With no possibility of saving in the middle, I just can't play the campaign.
I'll wait until Immortal Empires where battles might be more manageable to leave Beta and then will pick this up again.

Nice game. Took me 7 hours to complete with no backtracking. Not too hard, only need to pay attention. It's got a good story, excellent voice acting, and you get a feel for the investigators. A bit too combat-focused for my liking, but if you can grab it for a few dollars then it's worth it.

I've only just begun and I can see how it can get samey eventually, but I'm enjoying it a lot so far. Very similar to the turn-based Battletech game in managing the finances of the merc company, pilot roster, what contracts to take, etc. Combat seems fine and it runs very well on my PC. Haven't tried any mods but looking forward to them.

Bought this for very cheap so no harm done, but this game is very poor. Compared to something like X-Com 2 there's such little variety to the gameplay. Combat and movement is stiff and doesn't allow for tactics. There's no actual cover, or placing units further away to be less likely to be shot as there's no penalty for distance shooting (it always hits). The part of the missions before the fights are random in the true sense of the word. Doesn't matter if you try to out-think these as the results will be good or bad randomly. There are far better turn-based tactical games out there.

Not for me. Got repetitive after a couple of hours. Needed a bit more variation to hold my interest.
