Great game. By far one of the most fleshed out RPGs ever made. The gameplay is fantastic and every playthrough has been wildly different. That being said, a lot of the writing is just plain bad, especially the unavoidable relationship aspects of the game. Relationship mechanics should be subtle; I don't want my entire party jockeying to get in my player character's pants, it's lame fan service. Make it an option sure but making every character a pansexual horndog is pure cringe. I also feel that while the first two acts are extremely strong, the level design of Baldur's Gate itself is a bit disjointed and confusing. I've played multiple characters where I just kinda lose interest once I get to the city.

Fix siege and ranged AI before churning out ridiculously overpriced DLC.

This game is really well made, but the simplistic combat makes it a bit boring and repetitive. More combat abilities/magic and a better party management/tactics system would have made all the difference.

Wow. What an incredibly beautiful game. It takes a while to get used to the slow pacing, but it's incredibly rewarding. The animal AI is super impressive.

One of the best RPGs of the last 10 years. Enormous mod community gives near-infinite replay potential. My only complaint is that it becomes a bit of a compass-following game as opposed to giving you hints to figure out like some of the previous TES games.

Awesome FPS. Totally manages to expand on the aesthetic and themes of the original games. Challenging gameplay, brutal enemies and plenty of gore. Gonna be playing this one for a while.
