I made it about 1/2 way though before writing this review.

The game looks OK and there are some good explosions and guns. I would not recommend this game due to the unforgiving checkpoint system. I struggled through the first 5 or 6 missions on the middle difficulty, but didn't really have fun. Changing to the easiest difficulty helped, but still no fun due to the checkpoint system for the battles with multiple waves of enemies.

Possibly pick it up on sale because its not terrible, but expect frustration.

I'll probably go through and finish it but it's more like Alien Rage Quit at the moment.

Fun with a friend, went through the co-op campaign in about 6 hours on Marksmen difficulty.

Picked it up with the Humble Monthly. Not a game I'd pay full price for as it's not the type of game I normally play. Having said that the one run through (with some help from the internet) was pretty fun, it's a good concept. There were areas that I didn't get to and a more difficult second play through that I did not bother with.

Firstly, the Co-op tag is a bit misleading, there is no co-op campaign, just a survival mode from what I could see.

Good:
Didn't mind the combat
interesting story

Bad:
Some annoying boss battles

Probably worth a play through

Not sure where I go this game from, but plesently supprised how much I enjoyed it. A good one if you have a few minutes to spare.

It's OK, I guess. This is more of a neutral review as I did play though to the end.

Before you start playing find the guide to fix the texture pop-in. I only fix them just before the final mission, game would have been much better fixed from the start.

I played on normal and finished the game with 4 hours logged, not sure if that’s accurate or not but either way the single player is not a long game.
The story ended up being quite interesting, and I regret skipping some of the earlier movies and cut scenes. Remembering a review I read in a magazine when this game was released back in 2010, they consulted with special forces soldiers to help make it more realistic, it certainly sounds quite “military”. A good variety of set pieces, sniping and on-rails helicopter sequences and changes in viewpoint keep it interesting.
Probably slightly easy on normal difficulty as you can ask your squad mates for more ammo, and not a lot of point picking up new weapons to replace what you started with.
Worth a playthrough if have a few hours.

Surprisingly good, I felt like a typing game and found this in my library.
Good:
• Interesting art style and good game-play. I can touch type ok which was helpful
• Puzzles generally made sense and could and were not overly challenging.
• The narration as you explore.
Bad:
• The puzzle with 8 windmills.
• The lack of zoom and scrolling around the map.
• The story was ok, maybe a bit pretentious.

Overall, not sure if it helped my typing but it was certainly worth playing.
