I played on normal and finished with the father character.
I can't say that I enjoyed the start of this game, but really got into it after the first few levels. The level design and enemies are pretty good and varied. Worth playing!

I would say through the middle of the game, I was only using a couple of weapons when ammo was plentiful, but found I needed to use more weapons in the second half based on what ammo I had. So could be better there. There is also not enough of the lantern mechanic earlier on in the game, by the the levels are very dark further into the game, I was more used to the game and it took away some of the atmosphere.
