LOVE THIS GAME

though i think the most room for improverment is a more complex crafting tree and more t5 or even t6 weapons and crafting material

this game is worth every penny i spent, a perfect game to play while we all wait for Balder's gate 3

the game play is AWESOME, I have never played a TTRPG computer game that had such solid game mechanics, spells, and power scaling in a long time
the banter your party has is fun
the side content is enjoyable
Music is atmospheric and never feels out of place
there are still kinks in this game like my Dwarf Character eating his beard but the devs are working on it

And i hope they keep working on this because this one is a certified BANGER

i want to like this game i really do, but i cant just seem to get into it. while the characters seem interesting the thing that's holding it back is the confusing mishmash between ttrpg and Real time game play,

Iv'e played DnD for years and while personally i haven't had much experience in pathfinder, i just know that consulting a wall of texts of statistics where you should intimately know every detail of each character as you would with an actual character sheet then going in to a RTS feels... weird

it's clunky, as your character just stands there for 6 seconds before taking an action. it feels slow as hell which is the direct antithesis of how RTS are designed favoring quick decision making. i think this developer has great promise, and i am interested in seeing what kind of game they might make in the future. this game just isn't it.

Music 10/10-best music you'll find in it's genre

Gameplay 8/10- your solid simple JRPG mechanics polished to a T

Characters: 9/10- The chemistry between characters and the interactions you have with them feel both genuine and is a treat to watch.

Story: 7/10- It does murder mystery done well and can leave a pretty satisfying experience in the first playthrough but the main story line doesn't feel important sometimes

Atmosphere and Art direction: 10/10- The Persona Franchise has probably the most unique art direction in its games, and all of it is excellent. the atmosphere it creates really sucks you in and makes you feel apart of this jazzy world

Summary: A must have game for RPG fans and a good launching point for those who are curious about similar JRPGs like Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, Dragon Quest. it introduces you the main core mechanics of those games, and keeps it unique and stylish identity with it's strong characters and voice acting and phenomonal music and atmosphere

You can make your own spells!

+ randomized map gen so every play through is different
+ gunplay is fantastic
+ level design is decent
+world and atmosphere is nailed honestly felt anxious at some parts of the game
+ alot of progression available in the traits system

- story and dialogue falls a bit flat
- To those who've played the souls games, the normal difficulty comes across as a pushover. I'd recommend increasing the difficulty if you want more of a challenge
- sometimes NPCs dont respond to the players actions in the world
- some boss designs are simple and add-ins can become the problem

8/10 solid game

The game is as wide as an ocean. But its depth is as deep as a puddle.
