I thought this game would be fun, and it sure is. If you like having your ♥♥♥♥ kicked in for however long you decide to play. ♥♥♥♥ sucks, game is dead. The devs have beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game and its just a Warzone holding cell.

I put countless hours into the beta on Game Pass and now that the game has released into 1.0 on Steam, I highly recommend that you buy it. Before, the game was rather expensive for what content was in the game and the game did feel rather easy to complete (I had completed an entire run in less than 30 minutes several times in a row) but those issue have since been addressed. The game is properly difficult now, forcing you to focus on position as well as the weapons you carry and your cooldowns as well as the game having tons of secrets and unlockables including 6 classes! My only gripe is the rooms that lock you in until you complete a "boss" of waves of enemies. The rooms can feel very clustery and can end up ruining what could be a good run.

Overall, the game is a blast and I find myself actually enjoying video games again. The concept is very simple but the game feels great to play and advance in. Each run has me wanting to push the earlier levels faster and the later levels further until the run reaches its summit.

TL;DR - Good game, buy. Especially on sale.

This is the worst Battlefield launch to date. Do not buy this game.

Edit: Once again, gave the game another shot. If you have EA Play or Game Pass, give it a shot. Because it's free to you. I still do not recommend buying this game at or near full price.

This game is beyond fantastic. I've spent about 50 hours in the game so far and I can't get enough of it, the story telling and the gameplay loop is incredible, each run feels entirely different than the last even with the same weapon. The game can be as hard or as easy as you want; I highly recommend this game. It should have been GOTY. As I mentioned before, I have 50 hours so far and I fully intend to multiply that tenfold.

Don't buy anything other than Halo 3 if you want to play MP. All the other games are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash.

The campaigns are fun, but I don't know if that's worth the 40 bucks for the whole thing.

For a game that comes from such a large company as Amazon, you'd think that they would be able to put together a fantastic game, one that would blow us away by the redefining the metric of "beta". Well, since I wrote that sentence, you know that has to be wrong.

This game is so unpolished, it almost doesn't make sense. Games lag when you get into team fights, no team chat or voice chat, no explanation of your skills for any character, no real explanation of how the game works, just a 5 minute tutorial to show you the basics of the game. Then you're thrown into a match with 7 other people who may or may not know how to play the game. The games leveling system is very convoluted, and bloated really. The perks for most characters come down to: doing more damage, something that lets you heal and then something that literally no one would choose. Alongside the bloated leveling system is the damage system for hunters and PvE enemies. You do damage and then they have a slightly darker health bar that also has to be taken down. So, essentially, you have to do the damage to take their "health" away and then you can do damage to their actual health that can be healed back over time or with, I'd imagine, a healer if they add one of those. However, this seems like it doesn't need to occur. Just take away this always doing a DoT technique and just give the characters more health or allow for faster healing. The way the damage system feels right now is clunky and you never really know if you're going to kill someone because of how you damage them. This isn't helped by the lag either.

Champion balance is also something that feels untested. I only have 1.5 hours, but watching other streams of this game before trying it led me to the same discovery: many of the Hunters are just okay and there are 3 or 4 really standout Hunters that are nearly always picked. I am unsure of how to fix this, but just know that the variance will be noticeable.

TL;DR, the game feels very unpolished for a game coming from a company such as Amazon. It could be good in a year or so, but I doubt the game will live that long; as of right now it feels like a carbon copy of Paragon and we all know how that ended.

500 hours and I only want to kill myself a little. Thanks Bungie.

They ditched the first game for like 9 months just to make another to get some more money. ♥♥♥♥ these guys.
