I played this game once initially for like a few minutes noticed it was broken and didn't fix it and just played the other Far Cry's instead since I was lazy so this review would already be negative since I had to waste time troubleshooting and modding to play the damn game.

It's not very good, the AI is terribly made and stealth is not viable despite being encouraged. You also can't navigate most of the map so most objectives are railroaded instead of letting you approach from a lot of different spots. The story is also completely nonsensical but this is a gameplay focused game so whatever.

There's a lot more that's smaller but a good way to summarize it is despite being praised as having a lot of realism past graphics, this game is only realistic in the absolute worst ways possible.

I got it for free so maybe I am being to harsh but it's just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hotline Miami. The stealth in this game just has all the bad stealth game tropes and not much of the good except splinter cell style movement so there's no point to use it over running and gunning since it's harder, longer, and just boring to use stealth. It's good they have running and gunning because of this, but because of the splinter cell style movement and enemies being able to track you perfectly through walls even if you go like 4 buildings away without making noise the gameplay essentially just becomes waiting in a corner until you kill all the enemies which makes it just a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ version of Hotline Miami.

tl;dr this game is in the opposite of the goldilocks zone.

EDIT: After playing more not much has changed except playing on lower difficulties exacerbates the issues with aggressive play even more. On top of this, the later maps have AI or map design which disadvantages the player even more and essentially forces the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealth over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ combat......

Not enough content to justify the $15 pricetag when compared to similar games like BTD6 or TBOI:R. If they add a lot more I will change the review.

If I was driving like this in real life me and whoever the hell I crash into would turn into a big splash of tomato paste all over the highway along with crumpled up pieces of plastic, aluminum, and iron.

Oh boy, can not wait for another day of 9-5 in Cultist Simulator!

developers have censored this game for essentially no reason and literally no one asked them to

reality is all censorship is wrong unless what is being censored can cause genuine harm to another person (i.e. real cp, defamation, and doxxing).
journalists and others are making it look like what was removed is 'racist nazi imagery and naked underage girls'
they basically censored everything relating to nazis fascists and a few other things, but they are key to the story, not genuine racism. they also got rid of a pantyshot or two but they have left in the scene of an underage character getting groped, so if thats your issue they havent followed through with it.
They even removed the SOVIET ANNOUNCER, who the HELL is that going to offend?

This is the greatest anime in many years. It rivals the likes of Ren and Stimpy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Akira.
They even added a video game with the anime.
I thank god for this 1:1 recreation of Italy.
