If you like infuriating puzzles, go for this game.

It's tags being intentionally awkward controls, memes and difficult, perfectly explain this game. You'll probably learn weird controls that might not make sense, but somehow work. You'll have weird situations where it's definitely a challenge. You'll have an interesting time grinding out this game, and it definitely is worth it on sale. I grabbed it for $5 and find it's worth it's value.

This game is exactly like the first one. It is meant to frustrate you with terrible controls, extreme precision and annoyingly tight timings.

That's the whole game, it's satire of those bad game ads you see. If you believe this is a bad game, you're missing the point. It's not supposed to be innovative or anything, it is exactly those stupid game ads. That's why I like it, and if you go in with that expectation you'll enjoy it (or hate yourself).

See if you can pickup the game on sale. You'll likely get 5-10 hours of game time out of it, depending on if you want 100% achievements.

This game has the heart of the older stalker games. Yes, there are bugs, but as of today they have pushed out 3 bug fix versions and the version 1.1 A-life. So I have complete faith that many of the issues will be fixed.

I would recommend buying the game to support the Ukrainian devs who have been making this game during a war. That's why I also give this game some leeway in bugs and gameplay, as there are serious issues like performance (you really need to use DLSS to get stable framerates) and not play at 4k.

Overall, the game feels good and will eventually be great. Dend some love for these developers making this game during a war and watch "War Game: The Making of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Documentary" to understand the love and heart put into this game.

Overall this game probably could use improvements.

But for me, I enjoy making nonsensical gear machines. I've placed so many gears I can reach all the ends of the map. I've gotten tens of thousands of ascension points. I've cracked chests and other things to EXPAAAND the means of production.

It's a good game, it has it's flaws, and you should definitely be using an autoclicker on this one.

Or for the people complaining about video issues, update your damn video drivers and all drivers. I had this issue before, and it was fixed by updated drivers.

As for the co-op, it still needs work. But my god, these devs actually are patching on a very quick turnaround time. This is how a live service game should be.

Also yes, everything in this game is meant to royally piss you off, cause that's what "those games" do, right?

I would not recommend this game anymore. At launch I gave it the "diamond in the rough treatment". It was still in development and had hope (sort of like the first one).

Now there is no longer a dev team behind the game, and should not at all be purchased. If you want a good experience, get mods and KSP 1 only while it's on sale.

Really great game that I feel is underrated. I prefer the mechanics of this over beat saber, but beat saber does have the larger mod library of songs.
