EDIT 6/13/2025 - Sony has finally made the game available to all the people who were required to make a PSN account but couldn't due to living in specific countries

I like everything about this game except the gameplay. By far the least fun roguelite I've played to date

the remake does not exist as far as I'm concerned. the best resident evil alongside RE1 (2002).

the reuse of bosses get's really annoying towards the end of the game and (to me at least) lessens the impact of former bosses Astel suffers largely from this, as do encounters with dragons . Also really disappointed at the lack of covenants; I thought that since having GRRM writing they'd go hard with covenants but they just aren't even there. Really weird considering a big pull for a lot of ppl when it comes to fromsoft games is the multiplayer experience.

banger. check the steam user guides for fixes if you're trying to play on a modern system

portal but with very pretty lights. worth trying out seeing as how it's free if you own portal

Fatshark is finally starting to incorporate some semblance of a story into the game over a year after release. the talent tree expansion is very much so appreciated because now each class feels like there are multiple ways to play it instead of just one. wild that it took essentially a year of people paying $40 for a beta test for the game to become good but here we are ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

UPDATE: as of patch #4 the game is better but still not good

crafting really made the experience a lot better, but it's a lesser version of crafting present in vermintide 2. it's just a waste of time
unless you just really really love the combat of the tide games, there's no reason to buy this game over vermintide 2. the later is just better in every way I can possibly think of even down to the animations of the special enemies.
runs like garbage unless you have state of the art hardware (I have a 3080 and it still runs poorly). systems present in vermintide 2 (i.e crafting, bots, being able to pick what missions you do in whatever order to be able to follow the game's story). I may be able to forgive these things if it wasn't for the fact that there's a fully functioning micro-transaction shop. calling this a full release is just a lie, you've done better before fatshark, what changed with this?

arch-nemesis is not fun
edit december 9 2022: they nerfed arch-nemesis to be reasonable so now the game is actually fun to play. I wish they didn't remove the lake of kalandra mechanic though, I thought it was fun. The issue (again) stemmed from getting one-shot no matter what build you used (I was running jugg RF with kaom's heart and still exploded).
