As an avid D&D RPG/Table Top/Board Game fan I'd say that this is a good interpretation. There are though a number of things that could improve the gaming experience but then again I was enjoying the game too much to be bothered.

A very straightforward hack and slash game that leans on a bit of material and gold grinding on the side (if you want those achievements).
