Pretty good, never gets too boring. It can be a bit tricky to get the hang of parrying/blocking at the start, but once you do it's pretty fun. It can be a bit annoying to come off of a fast-paced combat encounter and have to wait for the results screen to close and allow you to keep going. Other than that, it's a great game. For those worried about length, my playtime as of now (13 hours) comes from 1 playthrough of the main campaign on normal difficulty, 1 on hard skipping all cutscenes, and both DLC missions on normal.
