This game is a spinoff of the Walking Dead main series. The main similarity it has to the main story is that the main antagonists aren't the zombies? Mechanically, the only innovatative thing that Telltale brings to the point-and-click genre is that your choices will affect how the story goes along but not necessarily how each arc ends. If the idea of trying out Season 2, the sequel, crosses on your mind. Remember that the choices you've made in this game will affect how the story plays out as well.

If you are a real-time stragedy fan, this can fit the bill. Age of Empires III takes place between the 15th and mid-19th century.

Well-balanced gameplay, historically-inspired and as well histrorically-based single-player campaign, gorgeous graphics, physics, and a quite well-designed editor to make custom content.

Famously known as one of the best free-to-play FPS games, infamously known as "Hat Fortress 2". Team Fortress 2 was initially built and sold as a paid game and was bundled with other early Source-engine games developed by Valve, and the quality is brought over to you without costing a dime.

This is a class-based FPS game with nine main playstyles with much equipment and weapons that can affect how you use a particular style. They may give you alternative stratergies to help you better adapt to the situtation or completely change how you play.

There is an in-game store and player-based trading but you don't have to use either feature to gain items and cosmetic hats. Just be careful trading with other players like in any game with a similiar feature, there are items and hats that can be made easily due to how common the materials are.

If you're using Steam and do not have Garry's Mod, you're missing out! Owning this game is like owning many games, though a few are often horrid (namely DarkRP), and there's an endless flow of mods that can keep you entertained for a very long time.

Ahh GTA III, the freeroam game that set the standard and set off the media on a frenzy. Suggestive movements and moans when you recover health with a hooker in a car, sheer amount of violence and gore for the time, censored version in Australia to protect minors (though begs the question to why you would let them play in the first place), and one of many of Jack Thompson's "blame the game" defences.

For the game itself, it's not that much of a farcry from GTA IV and I'm sure you can pick it up easily. If you haven't tried any sort of freeroam game, then GTA III is a decent game to start. I recommend picking up the "Grand Theft Auto Complete" pack if you don't have any games from the series, best if you get in during the holiday sale.

Since most people haven't heard of Dungeon Keeper, the next best comparasion would be the Sims. Like the Sims, your loyal minions have needs that must be met or they would collapse, die, or even run away. Building facilites in your base is very easy to pick up, as you progress throughout the game, you will have access to more efficient need-restoring objects but much of them bring along higher heat. What is heat? That's the stuff that agent investigators (a.k.a. the "good" guys) want to bring home to have a proper "clause" to send in even more dangerous agents to steal your money and loot, attack your minions, or simply blowing everything up. I don't recommended killing agents as another one would likely take his/her place shortly after, it's better to waste their time with any means possible.

Also unlike the Sims, you are not in direct control of the majority of the characters in the game but rather interact with them mainly with objects.

A spoonful of history told through puzzles and politcal-cartoon style visuals. Give this little gem a try, it won't eat up your computer or cost you a penny. Two pointers, let it optimize and patience can save you a bit of bug trouble.
