It's brand-new, and definitely not ready for primetime. But if you know what you're getting into, and you're willing to help shape the future of the game as the developers have shown they're willing to listen, then get it.

You know, it's just not as fun, anymore. The engine's better, sure, with less confusion around "stealth" vs "loud", and more opportunities to slip up without completely blowing it. But... something just... feels bad? Wrong. Like it's just not the same. Bank's got a banger of a soundtrack, though.

Finally, a useful mount type.

I tend to ignore rides in games - They limit your flexibility. Especially when a game offers a fast-travel system. Thanks, no horse, car, or robot bull for me. I'll teleport. But Forbidden West lets you *fly*, and that will always be worth it. Improvements to weapon variety, elemental capabilities, and a solid New Game Plus mode round out the package nicely.
