I sat the game to the side until the devs deemed it to have reached an "acceptable" state, about six months after release.

This is still very much an unfinished game, and I don't think it ever will be.

It's not just the bugs, which remain extensive. The missions often seem partially finished, the dialog often reads like a draft and makes little sense. Bugs might eventually be fixed, but it's unlikely that any changes will be made to the core story and gameplay.

I've long been a fan of Telltale games and their Walking Dead series in particular. However the quality has taken a severe nosedive and I can no longer justify purchasing any more of their games.

They broke the previously reliable Steam Cloud saving, and added their own cloud which doesn't work. The game completely lost my save state after the first episode, so I replayed episode one and two. Then it forgot my save state again, when they released episode three.

They are competely unresponsive to support requests, with weeks going by without a response.

This game is still horribly broken, several months after it's initial release. Decided to give it a shot during the Steam free weekend.

Most egregiously the single player game has problems detecting when you've reached a checkpoint, and won't advance. During my first few hours with the game this was usually resolved by loading from the last autosave, but now I'm at the point where I'm stuck in a loop where the game will never advance.

Don't bother. It's buggy and just plain not fun.

If you want a good Mario-Kart style racing game for the PC, pick up Sonic & All Stars Racing.

Absolutely fantastic game.

The basic game mechanic is that of a 3D puzzle platformer. The game features a unique gimmick where the player's character can shift in and out of shadows projected onto walls, allowing you to do things in the 2D shadow world that you might not be able to do in the 3D world.

As a puzzle platformer the game is competent, but where it really shines is in the environment and the storytelling. The game is set in 1920s Paris and done in a film noir style, heavy on art deco styling with a hint of steampunk as well. The player's character is the imaginary friend of a little girl, and the complexities of the world she lives in seen through the little girls eyes. The little girl is the only human character you see throughout most of the game, instead you witness things through the shadows cast on walls and the audio... giving you the feeling of eavesdropping on the adult world from the next room, there but not noticed.

This is a side-scroling platofrmer set in a world filled with zombies. The environment is very artful and beautiful, in a post-apocalyptic sort of way.. The story is very film-noire like, especially with the main-characters narration, reminded me very much of Max Payne in that regard.

It does suffer a bit from clunky controls, and a few bugs. It is a console port. It's still worth trying, especially for the price.
