Releasing DLCs before finishing/adding more content to the base game is just cringe.
Game is fun for 1-2hrs after that it gets repetitive but as long as you get a group that is willing to "role play" the game a bit, it might last longer for you.

I HIGHLY recommend this game. I grew up playing Half-Life 1 and I really love playing coop survival games with friends. And this game combines both. It is a story based survival crafting game located in a huge "black mesa" like lab complex. The art style is amazing, the mechanics are easy to understand and progression is well made and simple to follow. I was a bit skepticcal about the 20+ e price tag since many EA survival games I have played in my life just couldnt deliver the promises. But this game even in this state is very worth the 20+ e price tag and I guarantee you will love it ! Grab 1-2 friends and go have fun.

When I saw the first teaser for this game I was hooked, I preordered it, played it and enjoyed it very much.
The gameplay was smooth and intuitive, graphics where stunning and the soundtrack with the enviroment created this kind of Half Life Vibe. The only downside is that the game is very very short for such a price tag. If I knew it was only 3-4hrs of story gameplay I wouldnt buy it for 25+ euros. Even if you try to do everything you wont play more than 5-6 hrs.

Early access money grab. Would pay max 10 bucks for it, poorly optimised, repetitive, just another early access survival game with lack of content for a lot of money. Give it a year or two and it might be worth the price tag, for now its not great.

It is what it is

I have bought many survival games, got scammed from most of em, enjoyed few and I am playing even fewer till this day. This is one of the best survival games I ve played. Playing Solo isnt that great, I recommend playing w atleast 2 friends. Sometimes the gameplay is nice and calm and othertimes you are fighting for your life.
Building needs some fixing but it is still enjoyable. Combat is sometimes a bit messy but still works good enough to kill what you need to kill. I like the progression system, the game unlocks everything bit by bit so you dont have everything at once and u can understand the game much easier.

This game is a genuine fun and also an interesting experience. I recommend playing with atleast 1-2 friends to have the best experience. The scary/fear factor goes away after a few games but it can still give u chills even after 10 hours of gameplay.
