Blood: Fresh Supply is a fantastic game and I'm glad I picked this version up, despite some bugs. It's the best game on the Duke Nukem 3D engine hands down, thanks to Monolith's GOAT-tier shooter design.

Each weapon and item seems thoughtfully placed, and the environments are ridiculously detailed. Monolith stretched the Build Engine to its absolute limits to map fun intuitive maps. Its level design is consistently interesting, while some other Build games get visually repetitive.

The gameplay is fantastic. It can be difficult, but it's rewarding to learn enemy layouts and mow 'em down. Crouching actually matters. Crouching dodges a lot of enemy fire, and it's a neat feature.

The graphics are seriously the best of their time on the engine. The cutscenes look like dated Play-Doh, but the game's got great art direction and great visual design on each element. The music is spooky midi fun, sound effects pop, and Caleb's voice actor kills it.

There is still a slight setback, though. This isn't really the best port available of Blood. If you like the convenience of having it directly integrated in Steam, by all means go for it! However, it does still have a few bugs that other versions available don't have. I never came across anything game-breaking, but it felt like weapon damage could be inconsistent compared to other ports. A perfect version is somewhat lost to time, but it seems the consensus for the best port is BloodGDX or NBlood.

Regardless, I still think this is a GREAT purchase. It’s an exciting blast that tests your skills as much as you want it to, thanks to lots of difficulty options to choose from. I hope you try this and enjoy yourself like I did. Blood: Fresh Supply is a good port of a cult classic that earns all its praise and more.
