Low FOV makes me horribly sick. Until they fix this, the game is literally unplayable for me.

As someone who has played every Horizon game, this one is easily the weakest.

Let me be clear; it's not a bad game by any regard, it's just unfourtunate that the older games were so, so much better. While Playground has improved in the aspects of car selection, noises and map size, they have seemed to disregard everything that made this franchise "alive."

The map, although bigger, is much more hollow and lifeless. Despite the several selection of biomes, it feels all the same. Compared to its predecessor, the map lacks a lush and vibrant city, exclusively favouring vast deserts/forests. (For being an all-terrain racing game, it sure favours off-road/cross-country a lot more.) The seasonal system they added in FH4 is almost useless, with occasional rain, dust storms and monsoons. Unfortunately, due to the general climate of Mexico, snow has almost completely been abandoned, only being seen on the volcano.

The music is easily the worst part of this game, I believe. For a franchise that praises itself for its synergy between 'car and music,' it sure does a terrible job of the latter. Although I would say this is merely an subjective critique, I feel the absurdly PG nature of the game means most controversial songs are completely censored, making way of lifeless TikTok/Radio hits. As an electronic fan, the selection of that is massively disappointing as well. (Somehow, FH4's music is better than this...) A massive downgrade from previous games in this franschise.

I'm no video game reviewr, so this isn't the most in-depth review, but I honestly do believe this is the worst game in the Horizon franchise.

Despite that, for someone who has never played another Horizon game before, get this. Excluding what makes this game a Horizon, this is a fantastic arcade racer, with beautiful sounds, graphics, and a massive, vibrant map. (Albeit lacking the character you see from NFS.)

after 3 complete runs on Playstation, it is time to waste more of my life on this.
despite all the reviews you see about framerates, performance issues, etc. most/all of them have been fixed!

also, the game is very good. great gameplay, great story. combat with people can be better, but the machine combat is absolutely amazing.

one of my favourite indie rpg shooters. have sunk uncountable hours on multiple accounts on this game. i highly recommend getting it! DLCs aren't needed, but enhance the experience a lot. all around spectactular game.

very underrated. easily one of my favourite FPS games because of it's incredibly fast-paced nature and unique style. if you like fps, you need to try this game out.

UPDATE: this game DESTROYS my computer. whenever I play it, discord kills itself, my computer becomes incredibly slow, and it literally DIES. but it's worth it; it's titanfall.

this game is only good if you like music-inspired outrun games. despite what people say, it is NOT a rythm game. while some of the maps are synced with the music, a lot aren't. not only that, but, a lot of the mapping is designed so you have to at least fail once. there's a lot of guessing when playing this game.

BUT, it is still an AMAZING game. For it's price, it has absolutely got me hooked. the music is actually insane and the visuals are up there too. even with the critiques, it is still an awesome game.
