Easy to use. Supports animating.
Has layers like Photoshop - that's a big deal for me.

Nice view features (grids, rules/rails, etc).
Intuitive UI elements and keybindings.

Love it

I play the leagues I find interesting and shelf the game when I'm bored.
For many reasons, Diablo games and ARPG's like it can't hold a candle light to the depth Path of Exile has.

It's well-developed and meant for players looking for a hardcore ARPG experience.
This is still clearly my favorite ARPG with many hours of solid, well-rounded end-game content.

Relax and listen to the nice music (or your own) and create a city. Watch it then morph into a beautiful chaos.
I'm not claiming to be good at the game, but it is fun regardless of that.
Expansions are cheap and add a lot of quality content for only $15.
The fluff is cheap but totally separate from the main expansions. This is what made EA's city builders so awful, expensive and buggy.

Opinion: Paradox really has made a city builder unlike any other I've played.. which is saying something, as my first game on PC was Sim City 2000.

TLDR: You cannot find a better city builder. Try it!
