This is one of those games you have to play perfectly from beginning to end and if you screw up, you gotta do the whole thing all over again. This was cute in the 80s but in 2024 it makes zero sense. The voice acting is nice, the game looks great but nothing was done to improve the gameplay (aside from the one button pogo).

The levels now make you do a collectathon before the boss which is just boring as hell on consecutive playthroughs.

I've always found this game clunky and the remaster somehow feels even clunkier.

Honestly, I like the first one better. This one feels like one big DLC as the mechanics are pretty much the same and the last few levels are very samey to the first game. 2 player mode is very awesome but if you have no friends...

Feels like a demo or some kind of lost beta. Plays better than the first one but feels empty. The addition of Tails is really nice.

Floaty Sonic is the worst thing I have ever experienced.

This game would be perfect if it weren't for blade mode.

Feels small but really good. I guess I was a little worried about the job system but I stuck to a generic party and had no troubles. Definitely lends itself to some replay value. Also, much better than FF2.

This is literally a dollar store kart racer.
