It's a great game for a mind escape. I can't say it was the most unveiling plot twist but it was calming to play in its own strange way. There are neat little activators everywhere, even in clear view while others are more hidden, waiting to be found, making every area a want-to-explore type of thing, as you never know what you may accidentally overlook. Things are rarely as they seem.

I find it very hard to believe that I have somehow only lost 7 hours to this game. It's perfect for those with the attention span of a gnat.

A great way to kill a lot of time and then actually feel the need to finish it because it gets slightly addictive.

BattleBlock Theater is a fun and whimsical side scroll game that barely obeys the rules of gravity. The movement of the character is very loose and the objectives are relatively simple, and each puzzle room doesn't require a rocket science degree to complete. The voice acting is very well done with quirky enthusiasm and the characters are just odd enough to be unique without being overly complicated or too dramatic looking. This is a game that you can easily play, save, and come back to at any time without feeling like you have to finish it entirely or else.

Angry Birds Space is one of those games that provide a love hate relationship and perhaps even trust issues. Much like in Duck Hunt, where the Dog snickers at your lack of skill, little green pigs snort at your inability to understand basic and guided physics of a slingshot and various birds as your ammunition. As you should grow a full on feeling of ire towards the mocking pigs, you really just grow to hate yourself and begin to take it out on the tiny birds, inevitably blaming the quality of your electronics for obviously not working properly since children a third of your age have beaten this game and you're sending birds off into space rather than defeating little green space pigs that are nearly a straight shot away. Little green snorting space pigs that are judging you for every mistake you make.

Upon installation I didn't realize what kind of game I was actually getting into; however, while playing this very minimalistic game, I found myself entranced in the very calming atmosphere that is actually barely there. The game itself doesn't last very long, but because of the simplicity of 9.03m, it makes for a good way to waste some time. I, myself, only spent less than thirty minutes playing and managed to complete all of the objectives in order to end the game.

After completing the game, I was left with the sensation that I had missed a concept or perhaps the main point entirely. With a little research I found this game was a tribute to the lost lives of a tsunami in 2011 that occurred in Japan.

I honestly didn't have the patience to get through this without the guide. There are just simply too many things to click on that aren't needed to get through without a means to save game. I was pissed when I went to pause the game, and instead closed out the game entirely, having to start over because I hit the ESC key.

All in all, the game story itself is interesting in the "Well, that escalated quickly." kind of way. Nothing jumps out at you though, no screams of sudden terror or anything. Just a click ALL the things good way to kill time game.
