End of the Revolution.
:thekid:

I feel my ability to use social media in a healthy way has been compromised. There comes a time when I do not like the person I am becoming on it. When that happens, I like to take a break from it and reconnect with my friends on a more personal level. Like maybe that makes my bond with who sticks around a bit more meaningful. Maybe I'm wrong, but what if I'm not? Only I could ever really know.

It also just makes me sad. The algorithm constantly tests my tolerance for stupidity, I get these super ick vibes from people I otherwise respect, and it gets me overthinking. Like what if I'm putting the wrong message out there? What if I'm icking people out? Anyway, I'd rather just cut out the middle-man that is the platform altogether and let that be my new years' resolution. I like the people I talk to. I put a lot of work into keeping my nose out of their business because it's really none of *my business,* and I think social media just makes that far too difficult for me for now.

If I come back, it'll probably be to make a streamer page or something. I don't *have to* keep everyone posted on my progress. Nobody but me will hold me accountable for how long I've been at this journey. I hope this doesn't sour any of my relations with any of you, but it's almost a certainty. You will forget about me, but I will never forget about you. Because I am forever doomed to remember everything.
