Feels more like Indiana Jones than the last two movies did.

I got this free with my new video card. It had been playing very well in Linux but it was missing ultrawide support. I got tired of the letterboxing, so I put it down until the promised patch would add ultrawide support.

Patch 3.0 did add ultrawide support, but it also seems to have implemented EAC so now Linux players can't connect to online services.

Subnautica and Annihilation had a baby that was into extraction shooters, but wanted to play alone.

Fun so far. I held off on grabbing it for about a year, like with previous Fatshark games. Has a bit of a learning curve over Vermintide 2, breaking line of fire with ranged enemies, etc. Some of the veterans/elites are harder to spot in the darkness.

*EDIT* The spotting of veterans/elites thing just took time learning outlines, sound cues and tagging. Not an issue with the game.

I probably played 800 hours of it prior to Steam tracking hours played, helped run a server with a bunch of friends, met my future wife, now teaching our kid to play. Would not recommend.

It just feels empty and lifeless - not just the planets and locations, the whole game.

They've done a ton of work to make the game engine look amazing, but I swear the facial and body animations look exactly like the ones from Skyrim and Fallout 3. The NPCs look like puppets and everyone spouts their scripted comment the second you walk into range. The gameplay loop is unchanged from previous iterations, now without the added benefit of having to walk from one place to the next and maybe stumbling upon a neat encounter or cave hidden out of the way.

I'd wait for a sale or for the creation kit to come out so modders can inject some more life into the game.

Not worth it even at $12. Vulkan crashes randomly, no matter what solutions I've tried, so I'm running it in DX11. Single player requires connection to the server, so when the servers choke, your game exits. That might be forgivable if the gameplay or writing were good, but they're not. Even on immersive mode, the gameplay loop gets boring quickly. The writing is on par with your the latest direct to video action movie starring a former wrestler you've ever seen, and not in the fun way.

I just replayed New Order, Old Blood, and New Colossus, so I wanted to continue my Nazi hunting. This was on sale for $6 and I'm still not sure it's worth it. Maybe it's cause I was playing solo, more likely it's cause I wanted a straight-forward single-player FPS and this is like a blend of Wolfenstein and The Division. Not really a fan of the GAAS thing. This isn't a full blown Destiny GAAS but there's enough of the stuff I don't enjoy - replaying the same areas over and over, bullet sponge enemies, progression unlocks that can be bypassed or boosted with microtransactions.
