Dead by Daylight is fun most of the time especially with a group of friends IF the game works...

I really like the game idea of a "horror survival" 1 vs 4. And of course when you get into a match it can become heart beating pretty fast if you get caught and have to run away or you have to save one of your teammates.

However the game idea and the possible fun are the only positive arguments to play the game at the moment while the numerous bugs and the halfhearted updates overshadow the game.

The biggest problem is the matchmaking. In particular with friends you have to experience long waiting times and when you finally get into a lobby the killer just leaves because he sees your rank/level and just doesn't want to play against you/your friends because the killer is able to see your character, level, survivor rank and items while you can't see your opponent at all.
The next problem is that the killer is the host and everything relies on the connection of the killer - sometimes it is a good connection, sometimes it is a laggy hell. And at other times it is just an unfair matchmaking when you have to play against opponents which aren't even near your rank where you really miss a proper queue/matchmaking system and the match ends pretty fast in a few minutes.
Another problem are the options. First of all I expect more than one graphics option for a game which is released in 2016. Next is the lack of the keybindings. As a survivor you only have one action button which applies to multiple actions like hiding in lockers, vaulting over obstacles or putting a barricade down. Often it prioritizes the sillier action which puts you into even more trouble as you already have been to.
And the last and biggest problems are the bugs in generel. For a 'full released game' it crashes pretty often which should not happen at all in this extent or you just get disconnected while opening the exit gates and get no points. Or you just have equipped an item but then the game decides to not give it to you in the match or you can't just pick up survivors as a killer - and so on... As you can see there are plenty of bugs which you can't all list.

In my opinion this game belongs more into the early access category. The game has a lot of potential but it also have a lot of bugs
