Multiplayer is extremely half-baked. Second player can't see how many coins are in a stack, can easily delete items by dropping while trying to place, has to use a game pad, and shares settings with the first player. Multiplayer needs to be scrapped for actual multiplayer, not just splitscreen. I spent an hour with my buddy trying to even make it playable resolution-wise for his monitors and mine.

Game is fun, but do yourself a favor and let this one bake a while longer.

Great bones, but the horrendous ping for NA players made PVP absolutely unplayable. Can't even tell who's attacking me or when the hit will land. Sometimes it doesn't even animate anything. Would play in a heartbeat if an NA server came out, otherwise, never again.

extremely underrated. can be mellow or super intense, depending on what you want. very fun, very engaging!

i go back and forth on this one. it's a fun game, there's lots to do. but it won't let you play it when it wants, because everything has arbitrary time gates around it for the dumbest reasons out there. grinding two year old content to catch up? sorry, check back in eight weeks.

if they removed the power leveling and arbitrary and confusing time gates on most content, i would love it. what they have is awesome, how they refuse to let you play it at your leisure blows.

riveting story with very creative and engaging delivery. i could play it just for the survival, but wow did the story grip me. play it now

Core gameplay revolves around wasting hours making trivial progress and dying to the same causes over and over. And no, don't get me wrong - you can learn from your mistakes and know how to prevent that cause again. But the loot required to do so just won't be there, ever. 90% of the cool mechanics in the game will never be seen by 99% of the players, because they require too many items, for too little progress, where you can die and lose it all in a split second to a bug, sniper, or even a game update itself. The potential is here - but they've absolutely squandered it by apparently never play-testing after 8 years in development.
