Mostly just reviewing this for 2022 steam nominations but it's pretty fun I guess but to play with people online you'd probably want to watch some YT videos on how to counter the adv strategies that people use.

Has a lot of stupid problems like crappy monetization and progression but the gameplay is pretty fun. Play it if you don't care about the issues.

When some loser tells you Sonic was never good: refer them to this game.

Everything about this game is perfect as far as I'm concerned and I love the style of the animations.

Honestly, I would pay for more levels in this game as DLC.

There was some Denuvo nonsense related to this game at launch so just be aware of that (the nonsense is over now though).

Very fun and addictive gameplay, however this game's easy mode is way too hard (I didn't even want to try the medium and hard modes because easy was already too hard and my wife's boyfriend doesn't give me enough computer time for me to attempt the two other modes which must be impossible based on how hard easy mode is) and the protagonist is a problematic white male who exercises his white privilege of being able to succeed in life.

Prefer the OG soundtrack to be honest but that's not to say this is bad, I guess it's more of a preference thing.

It's pretty good overall.

Here's the thing. I love this game. But R* has got to deal with online modders.
